Day 15 Inspiration 8: Wells Cathedral

Half way through my challenge!  Yay!

For painting number eight (and maybe number nine too) I'm going to draw my inspiration from a recent visit to Wells Cathedral. The building has a magnificent gothic facade and fascinating long history. 

I'm immediately attracted to the pattern elements in the design and will start there.
