Day 17 Inspiration 9: The Dip Pen & Ink

I bought this baby a month ago and although I've used it a couple of times, I haven't fully experimented with it. 

Currently, I use an acrylic paint pen to draw my doodles on paintings, but I've not been completely happy with the quality of line, even though I like the continual flow of ink.

I enjoy more character in my line, so I'm going to use the dip pen, try some different inks and even test out a few unusual tools to dip in the ink to draw with.

I took these photos on my recent visit to Wells Cathedral.  Not sure yet which one I'll focus on for the painting.
