It's my penultimate painting in this 30-day challenge! April has been very productive I must say.

For painting number 14, I'm keeping it local. Last year I took a bunch of photographs of my home town of Tamworth in Staffordshire UK, intending to create a series of works [which have yet to materialise!]

I was reminded of my plan when I recently bought my local history newspaper which has a special pull-out comparing Tamworth streets in old photographs with how they look today. Of course, I was inspired.

This is my doodle of Tamworth's town hall as it stands today, along with the same view in a photograph taken in 1920.
