Tracey Flynn

Expressionist artist and printmaker

“There has always been a distinct difference between my print and painting work. My prints begin as sketches for paintings; I feel a moment of connection to a place and am prompted to explore and record the wonderful shapes around me.

My paintings delve deeper into my emotional world and the disconnection I feel from the world sometimes. The two processes express a clear contrast and conflict between my external and internal worlds.”

Expressionist Painting

“Using the practise of making art to move me from anxiety into a state of calm. Gathering information through the senses to ground me in the present moment and to catch internal dialogue”
